WHAT’S RIGHT WITH CHRISTIANITY?

Firstly, before we proceed with this topic, It should pointed out that the question ‘What’s right with Christianity’ is in no way meant to injure or harm Christianity or any Christian. In fact the question can be best answered buy the humility, sacrifice and forgiveness exemplified by the life of Jesus of Nazareth. The whole story from his reportedly immaculate conception to the cross exuberates light, goodness, challenge, strength, and moral character.  None of which we as mortal beings can lay claim to in any massive quantities. Humility for instance would enable us to at least listen and talk to each other. Remember the opposite of being humble is pridefulness.

Arguably it seems an increased awareness of the teachings of Christ would start paving the way for some pretty amazing breakthroughs in our world. If one ask what is right with Christianity, certainly someone is bound to converge with okay, so what’s wrong with Christianity? The short answer I would have to say is nothing. On the other hand what’s wrong is the way men and women perceive and or interpret certain doctrine and proceed to teach it to young and old alike. For example, taking one verse or theme from scripture and forging it with their own philosophies. The interesting thing here though is the Bible gives ample room to discuss, disagree and agree about it’s content.  Consider this verse “knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation 2nd Peter 1:20

This scripture alone encourages men and women to prod and dig and come to an understanding for themselves. Moreover it clearly places the responsibility of man’s spiritual growth on man. The Christian doctrine doctrine offers a host of good things, but none of which entails paying homage to any man or woman as if they were a God.

In conclusion, I as chief of layman would just like to add that it is seemingly very dangerous in todays world to be tossed around like a wind blown tumbleweed in the middle of the desert.
